Dear Sir:

This letter is in reference to the newspaper article dated November 13, 2002 regarding Doctor Abedon Saiz.

I was a surgery patient of Dr. Saiz two years ago when I was advised to visit a surgeon for further examination due to an enlarged spleen; which indicated lymphoma being present. I was presented with two surgeons' names and I made the wise decision to choose Dr. Saiz.

I made an appointment with Dr. Saiz for a consultation regarding my condition. Dr. Saiz was very informative and thorough during and after the examination. I found that he was always willing to spend time explaining procedures as long as his patient needed to have information. Anytime I asked for extra explanations Dr. Saiz was willing to talk me through the procedure to put me at ease about the surgery.

I had the Spleenectomy, which was very successful and my recovery time was very quick due to the excellent work of my surgeon. He took very good care of me and the follow-up procedure was again excellent. My lymphoma was put into remission due to this surgery procedure.

It saddens me that such an incident like this could be happening! I have recommended Dr. Saiz to several of my friends if ever they should need a surgeon. I will still recommend him and if I ever require major surgery again I WILL GO SEE DR. SAIZ.
